At The Fixer Lifestyle, access too is curated not granted.
We receive a high volume of supplier enquiries each year, spanning hospitality, entertainment, yachting, travel, culture and bespoke experience design. While we remain open to new ideas and emerging talent, approximately 80% of enquiries do not progress beyond our initial evaluation.
This is less about creativity, and more about alignment with the standards our work requires.
Our clients operate in environments where expectations are exceptionally high and tolerance for error is effectively nonexistent. Experiences must be delivered with absolute precision, often across complex settings, tight timelines and highly personal contexts. In this space, quality is not defined by concept but by execution, consistency and control.

Whether it is a bespoke hospitality experience or a journey planned months in advance to a once-imagined destination, we expect every detail to reflect both luxury and thoughtfulness. Luxury, at this level, is not ostentation. It is precision, refinement and quiet confidence in every interaction.
The process of evaluation is precise and intentional. We assess a supplier’s ability to deliver not only a tangible product or service, but a complete experience - one grounded in experience design, operational readiness and trust. This evaluation is an extension of our own service: a safeguard designed to protect the client experience from inconsistency, disruption or unnecessary risk.
Can a supplier anticipate what is not said? Can they adapt without drawing attention to the adaptation itself?
Experience length plays an important role in this assessment. Excellence is rarely immediate; it is built through repetition, learning and exposure to complexity. For this reason, we do not engage with suppliers who have been operating for less than twelve months. Early-stage businesses may be innovative, but they have not yet encountered the breadth of operational and human scenarios that define UHNW service. Time, in this sense, is not a barrier - it is a teacher.
Equally important is the network within which a supplier operates. Our work exists within a discreet ecosystem of like-minded clients, partners and environments. We look for suppliers who understand this context instinctively - its pace, its expectations and its unspoken codes.
How someone operates within a network often reveals more than what they offer on paper.

We place strong emphasis on long-term partnership over short-term opportunity. Our clients value consistency, familiarity and trust. Repeated collaboration allows experiences to evolve naturally, becoming more intuitive and seamless over time. Suppliers who approach relationships with patience and shared intent are better positioned to deliver the continuity our clients expect.
This selectivity is not a limitation, it’s a promise to our clients. It ensures that every recommendation we make, every introduction we facilitate, and every experience we craft carries the implicit guarantee of flawless execution and unparalleled quality. Our clients rely on us not to present what is merely available, but what is exceptional, rare, and appropriate to their lifestyle.
They come to us for clarity and trust.. For the reassurance that what is presented has already been considered from every angle.
We are entrusted with their time, reputation and confidence - responsibility we carry with care.
Saying no is therefore as much a part of our service as saying yes. We turn down what does not belong, what complicates rather than elevates, what requires justification rather than confidence. Not because it lacks value, but because it lacks alignment. By holding this line, we protect what matters most: continuity, trust and the quiet ease that defines true luxury.

Ultimately, turning down 80% of supplier enquiries is a reflection of our ethos: luxury without compromise, discretion without exception, and service that anticipates rather than reacts. Our clients deserve nothing less than the best, and it is this uncompromising standard that defines everything we do. In a world awash with options, The Fixer curates only what is truly exceptional.
