The Fixer Concierge strides into London

The Fixer, one of the UK’s favourite personal and corporate concierge and lifestyle management services has recently announced developing its partnership with award winning Cushion the Impact in London to now deliver its full range of concierge and lifestyle management services throughout London.

This is following a year of success including acquisition of business customers and achieving Finalist in the London Lifestyle Awards in 2011.

The partnership will mean that we are now able to deliver our full range of concierge services throughout the United Kingdom and providing a more local access to our clients through a dedicated office in London. The services to be delivered include ticket booking, relocation and property research, errand running as well as full administrative support for our business clients. This is in addition to the online and telephone service that we currently provide for our clients. The Fixer commented, "Ability to react quickly and provide exactly what the client is looking for is key to deliver exceptional service to our clients, as we usually have the time that they do not. Therefore by allowing all our members a national presence in addition to our online support is allowing us to provide exceptional service with dedicated staff throughout the UK, a first for the concierge industry in the UK. recently opened an office in Sheffield to meet the growing client base in the Sheffield and surrounding areas.

The new office is being run by Jennifer Herniman, who has worked with The Fixer for the past 3 years previously at their office in York but has recently relocated to Sheffield. The Fixer, one of the North’s most sought after personal and professional concierge services was asked to step in and help out with last minute items to support the WALKTALK initiative.

They needed some extra help in terms of admin and sorting out some logistical matters that this increasingly popular initiative has generated over the last few weeks. Support was given, by tapping into the unique network created by the company which can deliver anything from handymen to luxury holidays.

WALKTALK is a bold and challenging nationwide initiative which aims to bring together people who may otherwise never meet, never talk and, almost certainly, never walk side-by-side. It has been initiated by Gill Hicks, a survivor of the 7 July 2005 London bombings who lost her legs that day, and her husband Joe Kerr (both of M.A.D. for Peace), and developed with Zulfi Hussain MBE of Global Promise, and the team at Together for Peace.

WALKTALK set off on19th July from Millennium Square in Leeds and is due to arrive at Trafalgar Square this Sunday. Along the way, organisations, businesses and walkers have been inspired and encouraged to join at one of the 22 towns that they have passed through.

The Fixer was thrilled to be able to help out with this exciting initiative and at the same time support a worthy cause. It also opens up the way for our future plans to engage more with business and organisations and provide services to employees. This new set of services, aptly named the Fixer at Work, will be launched in the beginning of September.

Lifestyle management and concierge service The Fixer contributed to a high profile fundraiser event held at The Grosvenor Square Hotel, London. The event was hosted by the Spinal Injuries Association who are the leading national charity for spinal cord and cord injured people.

The Fixer was delighted to take part in the fundraising evening that consisted of an Oil and Gas Quiz, Auction and Raffle. The fixer stated that ‘it was a great opportunity to help raise money for such a worthy cause’.

Lucy Flyn, fundraising event manager, stated that the Oil and Gas Quiz was ‘a fabulous success’ and that the £30,000 raised will go towards ‘helping spinal cord injured people and their families rebuild lives after their injury’.
